On Thursday, June 20th 2013, the first round (and hopefully not last) of interesting physics experiments in elementary school took place. The event was attended by five of our members as an experimenters, and about 70 children divided into groups of 5 or 6 as spectators. We had prepared four sites for them.
These groups of children visited all the sites where they were shown experiments with a commentary. Pupils had the opportunity to get involved in almost all the experiments, and they used this opportunity with enthusiasm. According to the responses of children and teachers, this event was successful. We also took ideas on how to improve it for the next time, and we are looking forward to get the next round.
